Camp for a Week, Friends for Life!

Summer Camps @ SFC

Since 1958, Slumber Falls Camp has been providing a fun-filled, high quality experience in Outdoor Ministry to thousands of children and youth.

It is our goal to touch the lives of children with the love of God for all creation. Our mission calls us to be inclusive of all. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!

During our fun filled weeks where campers reconnect with friends and discover new friends, our program is designed to empower our youth with 21st century skills to help them succeed in life, strong foundation for spiritual relationships, and an appreciation for creation.  Our campers and participants have gone off into the world to own businesses, serve as doctors and lawyers and educators, and build stronger communities through churches, service organizations, and fostering healthy relationships.  Many campers discover themselves, their passions, and dreams while at Slumber Falls Camp as a result of our unique approaches to children and youth formation.

For more information about a typical week at camp, our incredible meals, what to bring, camp activities, off site trips, camp policies, scholarships, staying in touch with your camper, and much more, download the parent handbook.  As always, our office staff are eager to answer any additional questions that you might have.  We want your camper to have a safe, fun, and meaningful time at camp!.

Day Camps – cancelled this summer

In order to reduce the chances of bringing COVID-19 into our camp, we are creating a closed camping system consisting of overnight only campers, staff, and volunteers. We hope to offer Day Camps in the future.

Day camps are designed to allow children and youth to attend a specialty camp for the day.  Day campers arrive by 9am and are picked up at 5:15pm. Day campers participate with the overnight campers for the day.  Lunch, programming costs, afternoon snacks, and supplies are all  included.  The dates and age ranges are the same as for the overnight camps.

Worry Free Registration

Slumber Falls Camp understands that some parents are cautious about sending their kids to an overnight camp this summer and would prefer to wait to see how things progress before committing financial resources to camp.

This summer SFC is offering a worry-free registration system for parents who are on the fence. Because the SFC needs 180 registrations by June 10th to move forward, SFC is allowing parents to sign their kids up for camp now without the risk of loosing any money.

If circumstances change in your household, and/or parents do not feel comfortable sending their kids to their registered camp they have five options.

  1. They can move their registration to another camp later this season
  2. Apply monies toward another camper
  3. Transfer their registration to 2021 camping season and avoid any cost increases
  4. Donate the registration to the ministries of the camp
  5. Receive a full refund of your payments

By signing up now, you guarantee your spot at your preferred camp, help SFC gauge the interests of parents sending kids to camp this summer, and allow directors to recruit the appropriate amount of staff.
